swanasa is a Hungarian female experimental music performer. What might make it necessary to highlight these facts, in contrast to the zeitgeist, is that in her homeland this might mean a particularly disadvantaged situation in terms of possibilities. In her everyday life, she works in the triangle of nursing, festival backends and sound art, and when it comes to the latter, she is never not scared to move forward on the path she has embarked on with her glacial drone and extraterrestrial ambient soundscapes which, if you start walking on them (and into the grey area between your mind and your subconscious), can seem Horizon-meltingly infinite. But, make no mistake, the walk itself will always feel wholesome - almost therapeutic.
While going from analogue to digital and back again, experimenting with all kinds of hybrid solutions, swanasa frequently uses field recordings as well - this time, she is going to record the sounds of the island two days before her performance, and these bits will be reflected in her live session. swanasa will be playing at broad daylight at her own request, so that she can address those who wanted to rest after a heavy night before.
